some suggestions

I have 3 ladies lined up to do a photo shoot for me...we are going to use a friends dads house...he is a custom home builder...so this house is bad ass! Anyway...i want to make sure that I do this right and get the best quality pictures I can...I don't want lighting to be a problem...but I also don't have the money to buy all the proper stuff....is there some makeshift way of setting up some lights?

So far 1 lady has agreed to topless...the other 2 I am 100% sure they will also...maybe more. I am looking for some ideas for them to pose in...I am doing atleast a bubble bath....I was also thinking about one sitting topless with a fedora hat on...a cigar in hand along with a brandy sifter...maybe even a loose necktie on...so Guys...I need some more suggestions....this is a Beautiful house...with amazing detail and probably sell for around 1 million bucks..

  1. ill bet it has a shit load of windows.. use window light!!.. you dont need fancy strobes etc... what i would do is go to you local staples or office max and go look in their aisle that they have material for presentations.. get a piece of white foam core board...a large sheet will cost you maybe 3-5 bucks.. this will be your new fill reflector.. rig something on the back of it so it will free stand, another piece of foam core on the back in a triangle shape with a duct tape hinge. use this newly expensive and high end reflector on the shadow end of the subject.. this will bounce some light back onto the subject. It will have to be fairly close depending on how bright the light through the window is.

Bathrooms are easy if they have alot of lights in them. If they don't and you dont have a hotshoe flash invest in one of these. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/522116-REG/Gary_Fong_PUFFER_Puffer_Pop_Up_Flash_Diffuser.html its makes that little flash on the top of your camera larger making it bounce more. If you do have a hot shoe flash point it at a 45 degree angle that will allow it to fill the room up and not blind the model.

your ISO settings will be your friend here your camera can go all the way up to 1600, the higher the number the more sensitive it is to the light. In laymen's terms if your area is dark crank your ISO to get a better exposure.

Have fun with it, be creative try a lot of different stuff.. if the models have never posed before they will be nervous, joke around bring some music something to make them more comfortable, if they arnt comfortable it will effect how the shot come out and how they take direction.
